David B. Diaz, CGC

David B. Diaz is the President and Founder of SPARC, where he sets the strategic vision for the firm and leads its team in delivering complex development and construction assignments. With more than 20 years of experience spanning architecture, construction and project management, David is responsible for cultivating key client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of every engagement. His leadership is grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the development process and a commitment to protecting each client’s vision, objectives and investment.

Prior to founding SPARC, David held senior leadership positions at JLL, ultimately serving as Florida Market Lead for Project and Development Services. Throughout his career, he has overseen more than $2.5 billion in ground-up construction and over $500 million in interior build-outs, renovations and capital improvements. His experience extends across corporate headquarters, healthcare, aviation, cruise terminals, hospitality, residential, restaurants and large-scale development, with notable assignments including the Carnival Corporation Global Headquarters, 2020 Ponce, Opera Tower, Panorama Tower, PortMiami Parking Garage K and Port Everglades Cruise Terminal 25.

As the leader of SPARC, David remains closely engaged from the earliest stages of an assignment through completion, providing executive oversight, guiding critical decisions and empowering his team to deliver at the highest level. His ability to navigate complex projects, align diverse stakeholders and build enduring client relationships has shaped both his career and the foundation of SPARC. David earned a Master of Architecture from Florida International University and is a State of Florida Certified General Contractor.
